Barberry purchased the Collins & Aikman site in a joint venture with Richborough estates. Collins & Aikman took a leaseback for a 9 year term with a rolling break after the fifth year on the 8 acre site which provides approximately 140,000 sq. ft. (13,005 sq. m) of manufacturing accommodation. The short term secured income will enable the joint venture to explore the potential for a change of use and redevelopment of the site.
