Barberry acquired the former Lloyds TSB bank in September 2008 with the upper floors let to Ladytone, a ladies only gym and with the Bank vacating the ground floor and part first floor. We refurbished the exterior of the property and also returned the retail accommodation to a shell ready to take a tenant’s fit out. One month later CEX Limited signed a 10 year lease at a passing rent of £81,000 per annum. The store opened in November 2008 following CEX’s high quality standard fit out. The company is aggressively expanding and Cheltenham became their 73rd store.
