Barberry acquired this first generation retail park from Threadneedle in July 2008. It is located north of Swansea city centre on the established Swansea Enterprise Park with excellent access to junctions 44/45 of the M4. The area is already a significant retail destination with nearby retailers including Tesco Extra, Halfords, Carpetright, PC World and Comet.
Lion Way Retail Park comprises four retail units subject to two occupational leases. Unit 1 is let to Poundstretcher (trading as Instore) and Unit 2 is let in part to Farmfoods Limited, with Unit 2b vacant.
The site comprises approximately 2 acres currently providing 30,000sqft of open A1 retail accommodation.
Whilst currently the retail park is extremely popular, working with the existing tenants Barberry intend to improve the layout and configuration of the car park and landscaping areas and also seek to improve the aesthetics of the existing first generation retail units.
