Lion Way Retail Park, Swansea

Barberry acquired this first generation retail park from Threadneedle in July 2008.  It is located north of Swansea city centre on the established Swansea Enterprise Park with excellent access to junctions 44/45 of the M4.  The area is already a significant retail destination with nearby retailers including Tesco Extra, Halfords, Carpetright, PC World and Comet.

Lion Way Retail Park comprises four retail units subject to two occupational leases.  Unit 1A is let to Poundstretcher and Unit 2A is let in part to Farmfoods Limited, with Units 1B and 2B vacant.

The site comprises approximately 2 acres currently providing 30,000sqft of open A1 retail accommodation.

Barberry have been working with the existing tenants to considerably improve the layout and configuration of the car park and landscaping areas. Whilst the retail park has always been popular the improvements have further boosted trading activity. This resulted in Poundstretcher signing a new 15 year lease in March 2011.
