Markham Retail Park, Chesterfield
Barberry in a joint venture with Richborough Estates acquired this prominent development site immediately to the south of Chesterfield Town Centre and adjacent to the Ravenside Retail Park and carried out a 20,000 sq. ft. (1,858 sq. m) non-food retail scheme. The first of the 10,000 sq. ft. (929 sq. m) units were let to SCS Upholstery and include an 8,000 sq. ft. (1,858 sq. m) mezzanine floor with Allied Carpets and Sleepmaster occupying 5,000 sq. ft. (929 sq. m) each in the second unit. The prime retail park was sold to clients of CBRE Investors shortly after practical completion
