CONTINUED RAPID GROWTH SECURES HQ’S FUTURE

Burton based Healthcare at Home Ltd has taken additional accommodation at Barberry Court, on Centrum 100 Business Park, demonstrating its commitment to the area and continued success.

The specialist pharmaceutical and clinical homecare services company has enjoyed rapid expansion in recent years.  With 24 facilities throughout the UK, Burton has been its long standing headquarters and Barberry Court is set to continue as the main support offices for its admin, finance and HR teams.

Rushton Hickman and King Sturge act as joint agents on Barberry Court, which is itself a success story for the Burton Upon Trent Development Partnership, a joint venture between Close Asset Management and Midlands based Barberry Group.

Barberry Court was speculatively built in 2006, creating a 30,000 sq ft courtyard office scheme.  Just suite 5 (2,300 sq ft) and Suite 10 (3,030 sq ft)  remain available although solicitors have just been instructed for a letting of the ground floor of Suite 10. Other high profile lettings in the scheme include Sanguin International Limited, CHH Recruitment and Datacare Software Limited.

Dean Brown, investment and development manager; property for Close Asset Management says “In today’s climate, retaining existing tenants is as important as attracting new ones and as landlords, being flexible and in tune with occupiers is key to securing the long term future of office schemes.

“Healthcare at Home Ltd, which now occupies 8,840 ft² at the development, has witnessed incredible growth over recent years and Burton looks set to benefit from its growth well into the future.”

Paul Rushton of  local agent, Rushton Hickman added “Barberry Court has attracted a range of interest from both local investors and occupiers.  The style, location and setting of the development have been the principal factors in encouraging lettings and sales.  We have now instructed solicitors for a letting of the ground floor of Suite 10 and we are hopeful that, along with out joint agents, we can conclude deals on the remaining space shortly.”

Barberry Court is a courtyard development of two storey self contained office buildings with prominence to Parkway, the main arterial route through the Centrum 100 Business Park.  The buildings  include  heating/ comfort cooling, suspended ceilings with LG3 compliant lighting and have 3 compartment skirting trunking and lifts.  All buildings are DDA compliant.
