Property developer and investor Barberry Group has promoted Maria Iacolino to group finance director.
Highly experienced accountant Maria joined the company last year as head of finance and is managing and supporting the continued success of the group.

With over 20 years’ experience in finance, Maria has specialised in real estate for 18 years. After gaining a degree in law, she qualified as a chartered accountant and spent four years at Deloitte where she was an audit manager. She joined Barberry from Horton Estates, in Birmingham, where she was financial controller.
Barberry owns an active UK investment portfolio, comprising commercial and residential properties. It controls c.375 acres of strategic land in various stages of planning promotion for residential, capable of delivering up to 3,000 homes.
Barberry has a four million sq ft industrial and logistics development pipeline with a Gross Development Value of in excess of £500 million. It is currently nearing completion of a £40 million state-of-the-art manufacturing and design facility for a global leader in engine and flight controls systems in Gloucestershire. The 208,000 sq ft carbon neutral, centre of excellence for Moog’s Aircraft Controls Segment is being built on a 10-acre site off Junction 9 of the M5 in Tewkesbury.
